LAXDN is a menswear brand from Paris, France and headquartered in China. With five floors, they are located in Liwan District, Guangzhou. The inner space of the building is special, with two atriums: one two-storey atrium shared by 1st and 2nd floors, one three-storey atrium with a glass louver shared by 3rd, 4th and 5th floors.
First two floors are mainly used for reception, meetings and SHOWROOM. The three others compose the office space. • Mix use of all kind of materials and different textures; Facings made of glass, mirror, stainless steel, etc. Strong modern sense to create a texture of space. • Use of appropriate colors, black, white, grey and coffee to reflect the visual identity of LAXDN menswear. Use of special furniture, accessories, artworks to emphasizes on the Fashion style promoted by the brand. • Strong modeling proportion: treatment of the wall lines proportions, use of local patterns with decorative and design items ( selection of lamps and lanterns, furniture and accessories ) • Switching monotonous illumination model used in office building for a special lighting model to display key parts. Applying artworks and professional lighting to express the modern sense and design sense of space. • The display system illumination was made to reflect a strong brand image and internal culture in an untraditional space environment. Designers successfully integrated the space, the brand, and its character to create a simple, fashionable and elegant space image for LAXDN headquarters. |
